It is compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE STD 802.3an, 802.3ab and 802.3au. The 10G copper SFP+ transceiver allows IT designers and data center professionals to extend the distance of 10GbE Ethernet links over an existing copper cabling infrastructure.
